UP Centennial Kick-Off Photos

I have my camera with me last 8 January 2008 but I was quite hesitant on bringing my gear from the office to the site considering that the number of crowd expected in UP Diliman grounds that day – I might not be able to go to an advantageous position to take pictures. Nonetheless, one of the photography forums that I visit (Pinoy Photography) have some users posted their photos of the event. These photos are not mine but just linked to somewhere else.

Of course, I do have my favorites (courtesy of Miko Cuenca – I do not know him personally but of course due credit to his photos):

And of course, the photo set (by Raffy Yllana).

Seeing the photos makes me proud of my alma mater (perhaps for every UP alumni out there). No wonder that the UP Naming Mahal mp3 that I blogged the previous months has the highest hits these days. 🙂

By Patrick

My friends call me Patrick although I can be referred through different names - JP, John, Patrick, Yummy (unfortunately), Papa P, and so on. I am a software developer who works mostly with Microsoft technologies but consider myself open to other technologies. I have started with open source technologies but it was the Microsoft stuff that jumpstarted my career so well, so my loyalty goes to ahm, ehrm, what works best! I talk about a lot of things under the sun but even if we disagree on some discussions, I would definitely respect your views on it. Loves traveling, adventures, reading, cooking, and photography when I don't sit in front my computer. Who ever said software developers are boring people?
