AJAX Control Toolkit Update for NETFX3.5 Released!

An updated version of the AJAX Control Toolkit (ACT) has been released to solve the problems surrounding the initial release where Visual Web Developer 2008 isn’t extender aware despite having the ACT extender controls being added to the toolbox. You can download the updated ZIP file in the Codeplex repository of the project.

If you have watched Joe Stagner’s video on the AJAX integration with Visual Web Developer 2008 and try to replicate it on the initial release of the toolkit for .NET 3.5, you’ll be disappointed that it is not working. The new release corrects the “bug” on its initial release and the picture shows that it is indeed fixed for Visual Web Developer 2008.

Happy Coding!
